4.0 Camera Viewing

4.1 Camera Setup

To configure camera inputs, click Utilities and the main SBE2000 screen and then CAMERA SETTING

Camera Title

Click the desired input area and enter the camera title accordingly. The following characters may not be used in camera titles: / \ : * ? " < > |

Active

It is very important to uncheck the Active box for camera inputs that are not being used. In the example on the right, only three cameras are connected. All other inputs must be disabled.

A Time Stamp can also be enabled on camera views. The time stamp will be recorded with the video file. To enable time stamp on the camera views:

  1. Go to the Control Panel and open DSR Configuration.
  2. Select Optional Feature Setup and click Setup.
  3. On the Time Stamp Setup tab, check the boxes beside the camera numbers to enable the time stamp on those displays.

4.2 Display Modes

SBE2000 supports multiple display modes. The following is a list of the display mode buttons and their meanings. Some of these display modes are only available in the 8 or 16 camera systems.

One screen mode.

Four screen mode.

Eight screen mode.

Eight screen mode with one large view.

Two screen mode.

Multi screen modes can be used when in four or two screen mode. This allows users to further divide each quadrant.

Sequence specified cameras. To define which cameras are included in the sequence and for how long each camera is displayed, go to Utilities -> Option Setting -> Sequence Setting.

The Dwell Time is the number of seconds each camera will stay on screen. Check the camera numbers that are to be included in the sequence.

Flip button is only available when in four screen mode. This will display the alternate cameras, i.e. the cameras currently not being displayed.

Clicking on the camera numbers in the display panel will show that camera in it's appropriate screen position depending on which display mode is in use.
